At the initial consultation, I will explore your current issues, enquire about background history and establish your focus of therapy and discuss counselling contract. The initial session will last for 50 minutes and we will explore what has brought you to counselling, what you would like to achieve and agree a plan for how to proceed including session times, length, frequency and duration. I recommend starting with weekly sessions, after 3/4 sessions if you are finding the sessions helpful, we would continue.

Therapy sessions last 50 minutes and are normally held on a weekly basis, sometimes every other week. Your regular attendance is important for your therapy to progress.
